Amelia Island is a seaside retreat for nature lovers and those who thrive on an abundance of sun, sand and outdoor sports. Visitors love to stroll the cobblestone streets of charming Fernandina Beach with more than 60 boutiques and shops, 25 restaurants, and 40 blocks of historic busineses and homes. Fort Clinch State Park, community lap and kiddie pool (pictures shown on this page), miniature golf and skateboard park are all walking distance from the condo. Historic Sights & Parks
Fort Clinch State Park
Fort Clinch State Park is walking distance from our condo and is one of the most well-preserved 19th century forts in the country. Daily tours with period re-enactments depicting garrison life bring the fort to life for visitors. Sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing are popular activities at the beach. Anglers can fish from the pier or take advantage of excellent surf fishing. Hikers and bicyclists can enjoy a six-mile trail through the park.

Cumberland Island National Seashore
Cumberland Island is 17.5 miles long and totals 36,415 acres of which 16,850 are marsh, mud flats, and tidal creeks. It is well known for its sea turtles, abundant shore birds, dune fields, maritime forest, salt marshes, and historic structures. Cumberland Island is a 40 minute boat ride with ferry departures leaving from Fernandina Beach at 9:30am, 12:15pm and 5:30pm.
